Do I have to use the TalentZ platform to successfully participate in explorers11?

No, the use of the platform is not mandatory, but the one week company visit is. TalentZ aims to help you to find an interesting explorer host and create a transparent and intuitive process for program participants and hosts.

What functionalities are offered?

After you have successfully registered and logged in, you can edit your own profile, search for interesting explorer hosts and manage your applications.

Is my data safe?

Yes, TalentZ complies with the GDPR. All our servers are located in Germany and after the explorer11 program ends all your data will be deleted. If you have further concerns please feel free to write us.

Who can see my profile?

Once your registration is successful, explorer hosts can find you via the „search for explorer“ function. Also, when you apply for a company visit the respective explorer host will see your profile. Other explorer participants or the explorers program management are not able to see your profile.

Who can see my application status?

Only you and the explorer host that you applied for can see your application status.

Can I apply for more than one explorer host?

Yes, you can apply for more than one host since it is not guarenteed that you will get a slot at your first choice of an explorer host. You can also withdraw an application or decline a request from an explorer host on your dashboard under „application management“.

Are there any costs for an explorer host?

No, there are no costs for any explorer hosts. The company visit is completely paid for by the Lufthansa Group.

Do I have to sign a contract regarding insurance or similar?

No contracts are needed. The company visit at the explorer host is declared as a business trip. Therefore the explorer participants are insured, and no contract must be signed by an explorer host.

Are there any limitations to the company visit that the explorer participants are not allowed to do?

explorers are considered guests in your company. Therefore they are not lawfully allowed to initiate their own projects or be responsible for any. You can use their skills and insights though for workshops, brainstorming sessions or as sparring partners.

Who can see the explorer host profile?

Beside you, only the explorers can see your explorer host profile.

How many explorer talents can I host at my company?

There are no limitations as long as the company visits take place between the 1st of May and the 31st of August 2019.

What is the duration and dates for the company visit?

The company visit is designed to last for 5 days. You can freely choose a date between the 1st of May and the 31st of August 2019. Please get in touch with the explorer talent to arrange a difinitive date that works for both of you.

How do I find an explorer?

You can either actively search for an explorer via your dashboard by requesting someone from the list or you can wait until participants apply for a visit to your company and then you can approve or decline them via your dashboard

Can I have two explorer host profiles?

Yes, you can. If you want to offer two different time slots for a company visit, you can. Or if you want to offer two different time slots for different departments within a company you can register again with a different email and explorer host profile.
